Cobbold Heritage Weekend, Woolpit Suffolk, 16th-17th May 2014
Lois Cordelia and Erika Bülow-Osborne will once again be demonstrating the techniques of the paper-cutting folk-art tradition, using scalpel and scissors respectively, at a Cobbold Heritage Weekend at St Mary's Church, Woolpit, Suffolk, on Friday 16th and Saturday 17th May 2014.
Opening times: Friday 16th May: 2.00pm-8.15pm. Saturday 17th May: 10.00am-5.00pm. Admission: £2 per person.
The silhouette paper-cut and Scherenschnitt demonstration will evoke in particular the exquisite contributions to this genre by Elizabeth Cobbold (née Knipe, 1764–1824).
