Festive Paper-cutting Workshop, Newmarket, Sat 14 November 2015
Paper-cutting is not as difficult as it looks! This festive-themed paper-cutting workshop is the perfect excuse for creating colourful festive designs. Paper-cut art can be meticulously detailed and intricate, or bold and minimalistic. Using a Swann-Morton scalpel, Lois will demonstrate step-by-step the very simple basic techniques of how to create an effective cut-paper design. Feel free to bring some of your own visual references, if you wish, or come along on the day and be inspired by a wide range of cut-paper styles, motifs, designs, patterns and imagery from around the globe.
"So relaxing - I felt totally immersed in what I was doing".
