Hedgehogs, Pinecones and Bicycles at La Tour, Ipswich, 19 Nov 2016
Following the success of last year's Christmas Tree collaboration, La Tour Cycle Cafe in Tower Street, Ipswich, hosts a children's craft workshop on Saturday 19th November, 2 - 4 pm: creating hedgehogs out of pinecones, pompoms, pipecleaners and other materials, led by Suffolk Wildlife Trust's Hedgehog Officer, Ali North. When finished, the array of hedgehogs will decorate one of the Christmas trees in next month's Christmas Tree Fest at St Mary le Tower Church, helping to raise awareness of hedgehog conservation in Suffolk. Local Ipswich artist Lois Cordelia will also be on hand (1.30 - 3.00 pm), using her intricate paper-cutting and sculpting techniques to make a hedgehog and bicycle themed decoration for the top of the Christmas Tree.
Perfect for families and young children! Hope to see you there :-)
