Fantasy Sculpting Demo at Cycle Cafe, Ipswich, Fri 16 September 2016
La Tour Cycle Cafe, in the heart of Ipswich town centre will host a live art demonstration of fantasy themed sculpting by Ipswich-based artist Lois Cordelia on Friday 16th September, 2016, from 10.00 am until 2.00 pm. Combining wire, plaster bandage (Mod-roc), Fimo, acrylic paint, found objects, foil, and so on, Lois crafts dramatic, dancing figures from imagination, and exquisitely detailed miniature sculptures with expressive facial features, hands and feet. The perfect excuse to drop by at the Cycle Cafe, watch live art in progress, and sample a delicious range of food and drink, in a relaxed and family friendly environment.
The Cycle Cafe, run by Anna Matthews and her team, previously hosted Lois along with a larger-than-life model pig statue, during a two day live speed-painting demo as part of the Pigs Gone Wild art trail.
Venue: La Tour Cycle Cafe, Tower House, 17 Tower Street, Ipswich IP1 3BE.
