From a
black and white photograph of Maxi Jazz
and Sister Bliss, lead members of the
music group Faithless, known for their
witty lyrics (largely composed by Maxi
Jazz, pictured above), impelling rhythms,
and quasi-religious themes. To me, Faithless
evokes the intensity of youth, the
ironies of life, and the spiritual nature
of contemporary dance music. Some of
their best known hits include Insomnia,
God is a DJ, and We Come One.
