Contemporary
spiritual leader, Paramahansa Sri Nithyananda (born 1978),
founder of the Nithyananda Dhyanapeetam, a worldwide
movement for meditation and healing. His
prevailing message is to 'Be blissful'.
I was recommended to paint this image by
a friend who remarked that most of my
portraits have a pensive feel to them,
and expressed the hope that my next
series would be of the happier variety!
