Dragons
are often associated with fire. They may
symbolise the fiery energies of the
earth, or of sexual force, or any
potentially dangerous power that must be
tamed (not slain
as in many mythological tales). In this
piece, I have therefore cramped the
dragon into a confined space, and also
buckled the paper of the silhouette to
focus its energies further.
