“The
Nomad” is a fusion of many
archetypes that inspire me: the lonely
Wanderer between Worlds, the crazed
outcast Prophet, the wise Sage, the
dreadlocked Rastafarian. A very rough,
energetic sketch on the reverse of the
paper forms the basis of a precise
'design' that seeks to evoke subtle
facial gestures, dramatic tensions and
surface textures that would not normally
be apparent in a 'silhouette'.
