Date: Summer 2006
Comments: Inspired both by ancient Egyptian tomb paintings and by the Rastafarian “Ital” (“natural” or “vital”) way of life, this image depicts a priest and priestess receiving the Sun’s blessings of warmth and light upon an offering of Ital food. Between them sits the Lion of Judah, symbol of divine strength and majesty.
