Speed-Painting Workshops with Lois Cordelia
**Please note that most upcoming workshops and demonstrations have been postponed due to the current Covid-19 lockdown, but Lois is offering a series of free video tutorials and demonstrations via her Youtube Channel. Thank you for your understanding. Stay safe, stay creative.
"Such an exciting workshop. I had loads of fun and discovered some brilliant new techniques. Lois was supportive, encouraging and very knowledgeable! Thank you :-)"
Loosen up your painting style. Communicate more with less. Let go conventional ideas about realistic colour and obsessive detail, and instead be expressive and spontaneous with colour, and launch into bold, sweeping brushstrokes on a large scale.
N.B. Workshop prices vary (e.g. some include a homemade lunch) - please click relevant links to see current prices for each workshop venue - many thanks!

Lois Cordelia continues her popular series of "Speed-Painting" workshops (ideal for beginners and anyone wanting to loosen up their painting style), using acrylics. Each workshop is themed according to subject matter (e.g. human portraits, animal portraits, townscapes, etc), or with an emphasis on a specific method of working (e.g. using palette knife, or shimmering colours). Please see the below list of dates and workshops.
You will work loosely based on photographic references. The focus will be more on freedom of expression than on achieving an accurate likeness, though Lois will be happy to give advice on both. Prior experience is helpful but not essential. Ideal workshops for beginners and anyone wanting to loosen up their painting style.
