"Black and White to Colour", Great Horkesley, June 8th-12th 2014
Following the success of last year’s art and music event, the Pimlott Foundation has programmed a ‘Black and White to Colour’ art exhibition and concert in June 2014.
The art exhibition opens Sunday 8th June at 12 noon and works will be on show until Thursday 12th June from 10am-4pm. Other times by special arrangement (01206 271291).
Lois Cordelia will perform live demonstrations of her paper-cutting art techniques at the Preview Evening (invitation-only event - please contact Lois for further details if you wish to attend), Saturday 7th June.
An accompanying Sunday afternoon concert ‘ Musical Colours’ takes place at 5pm on 8th June with Daniela Bechly (soprano), Christiane Behn and Mathias Weber (piano). Programme to include ‘ In Black and White’, (Debussy), Ariettes Oubliees (Debussy song cycle), and works by Beethoven, Schubert and Scriabin.
