Lois Cordelia leads another in her ever expanding series of "speed-painting" workshops at Tindalls, Colchester, using acrylic paints, with a special emphasis on townscapes and landscapes.
Lois encourages you to loosen up your painting style, working with acrylics on a large scale, with bold brush marks and palette knife strokes, to evoke dramatic colour and contrasts of light and dark in the context of landscapes and townscapes. We will work loosely based on photographic references, on mid-tone backgrounds. Feel free to contribute your own, or be inspired by a wide range available on the day. Ideal workshop for beginners in acrylics, and anyone wishing to loosen up their approach to painting landscapes.
