Deep Roots, Camden, London, November 2010

A collection of portraits by Lois Cordelia, inspired by Rastafari and Roots Reggae, were shown as part of "Deep Roots", presented by Djolof Roots Sound (BinghyMan and Friends), a night of conscious roots reggae, dub and African drumming, Sunday 14th November 2010 at the Camden Rock, Camden Town, London, 5pm-2am. Lois also performed a demonstration of her painting technique live in session, completing two further portraits within four hours.

Loosely based on a photograph. Portrait of Jamaican reggae musician Joseph Hill (1949-2006), lead singer and songwriter of the group Culture.

Price: £SOLD. In a private collection in Bradford, England.
