In this acrylic speed-painting workshop, Loïs will encourage you to let go conventional ideas about colour, be spontaneous, and launch into bold, sweeping brushstrokes. You will be working on a large scale, loosely based on a black and white photograph.
 

Feel free to bring in some visual references of your own, if you would like, or choose from a selection on offer on the day. Subject matter is not crucially important: Loïs will be demonstrating painting a human or animal portrait, but if you feel happier painting a tree, a still-life, or a landscape, then this will work fine, too.
